I’m a proud mama. I have the best kids. You see, I have a horrible car. Horrible jalopy. It’s so bad that sometimes when I put in gas it stalls a block away from the gas station. That car is a walking...ahem....barely driving test of faith on wheels. For example, yesterday we had to get gas. My daughter chimes in something to the effect “I don’t want it to stop again”. So I explained to her faith, she prayed and that was it. When I drove off I heard her say: “Thank you Jesus”. Why do I say this? Welp. Shockingly enough I have some medical issues arising and I need to see a dr tomorrow. And it’s got me worried. With just everything. But then God reminder me of my daughter yesterday and her profound faith in God and well.....thank you Lord for that reminder. Fasting. #intermittentfasting actually. You hear about the #ketodiet and hear about this. Hand in hand. So I was intrigued. Read so much stuff about it and in the end? I just listen to my body. See the most important thing to remember? Don’t eat when your not hungry. As someone who has struggled w an #eatingaddiction this was hard. But I’m learning to finally listen to my body. So what do I hafta say? Just listen to your body. If you’re hungry, eat. Don’t worry about meeting goals and all that Jazz. Be healthy. And yes, fasting is healthy. As long as you do it RIGHT. #healthy is key folks. Dude I can write a full blog post about that - but be healthy.
