I’ve Got You
[Continued from here]
@whatremainsbarnes :
“Amelia?”
He thought this was the end. That they were going to break him down and turn him back into the monster they created. He wasn’t sure how long he’d been here. It was hard keeping track with whatever they were giving him. He wasn’t sure what was real.
“Is it really you?”
Amelia nodded, tears shimmering in her eyes. “Yes. Yes, it’s me,” she whispered to him, knelt down to be at eye level with him, gently touching his cheek. “It...” She was almost choked up with emotion. “We’re getting you out of here. I promise. You’re coming home, James.” She had come upon him in his chair, strapped in. She undid his restraints, gently placing a hand over his metal one. “Can you move?”
Happy Birthday, James!

Of course Amelia had to plan something for Bucky's birthday. Steve and Amelia had planned and decorated the Tower for his birthday celebration, and she baked him a triple-layer double chocolate cake from scratch. She had...well, she had a plan for tonight. She just hoped she wouldn't chicken out.
Amelia had a surprise for him tonight after his party, a small concert. Dave Halston was very well regarded singer, covering the songs of Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack. She was hoping it'd be a nice, romantic night for him. She was dressed in a vintage red dress when she presented him with the tickets, smiling shyly.
"Would you...want to go? With me, that is. It's...well, I was kind of hoping maybe it could be your birthday present?"

Merry Christmas, James

@whatremainsbarnes: He had suspected that she might get him a gift. It was no secret that he favored her among the agents. She was, after all, who he spent the most time when he was on base. But he hadn’t expected this.
Flesh fingers traced over the metal engravings. These belonged to him once- when he was a man worth saving. It felt like another life entirely. Another world. “You….” Bucky swallowed- the former soldier trying to make sense of what was happening. “where did you find these?”
It was her next words that had him moving without his consent. He reached out- strange hands gently taking hers in their grip. “Amelia…thank you.”
Cool metal gently stroked over her skin. He couldn’t bring himself to meet her eyes. It wasn’t shame he was experiencing. There was excitement- something that he’d forgotten how to feel.
“You might want to hold onto those tickets. I don’t trust myself not to lose them,” he managed after a moment. “It’d be a shame if I couldn’t see you dance. That is, if you’re willing?”
Amelia had turned to leave, but James had stopped her, and of course, she couldn’t help but stay for him. Her green eyes widened in surprise slightly as he gently took her hands, her heart almost skipping a beat as her cheeks turned pink. She smiled as she shyly giggled. “Oh, well, it... A girl can’t give away all her secrets, can she?” Amelia responded. “You don’t have to thank me, though...”
Goosebumps formed on her arms as his metal hand stroked the back of her hand, and gazed at him adoringly, still smiling. Her heart was pounding in her chest, and she was so damn giddy, she almost missed the next part.
“You... Me? You’re... You’re asking--I mean, you want...” Amelia dumbly stammered. “You want to go dancing with me?”

It's been a month and a half now since Tony had moved Bucky into the secondary rooms on the containment level. He now had a bedroom, a small kitchenette and a living room to go with his bedroom and bathroom. He was still carefully monitored by Jarvis with Tony reviewing the video when he wanted or needed to.
They had something like a routine going. Tony would join him for some meals. Sometimes he wanted something from him, sometimes he didn't, but Tony never announced which it was when he turned up. But what was firm and certain was Friday nights. If Bucky had behaved, if he hadn't done anything to upset or displease Tony, there was a reward to be had. He'd made that very, very clear from the outset. And he'd left Bucky sweating and shaking and utterly spent when Tony did reward him. But when he did something that Tony didn't like, that wasn't allowed, there was no reward, just dinner and Tony leaving. No explanation, no reason given, nothing to indicate what Bucky had done to displease him.
Things were going well now. Three weeks in a row with rewards and Tony had finished configuring the security in the upper tower to allow Bucky the added freedom. He knew he would make his attempt with this new show of trust. But it was early Saturday afternoon and Tony had deliberately not shown up last night. That change in the routine should be enough to keep him in line for a few days before he started looking in earnest.
Heading down to Bucky's larger cell, because as homey as it looked, it was still a cell Tony had him in, Tony let himself in. "Bucky," he stated, speaking loud enough that he'd be heard no matter where he was in the unit. His tone expecting an immediate response.

Captured and Bound | Stephanie & Bucky/Winter Soldier
Stephanie Grace Rogers was pretty darn sure that she hadn’t signed up for this, yet here she was thrown into the back of a truck and carted off to some unknown location. Soon enough the truck came to a sudden stop, and some men in all black came and yanked her from the back of it. “Let me go! I can walk on my own!” She barked out, as she was yanked through some doors and down a hallway.
Eventually they came to a lighted area, and the men in black tossed her roughly down to the ground. A frown crossed her features as her blue eyes glared upwards at the surrounding area. There was a man sitting in a chair, he was wearing black and had a metal arm with a red star on the shoulder, and suddenly when her blue eyes found the face of the strange man she let out a small gasp. The men in black deemed that gasp fear, and dismissed it, but she, she knew who this person was. She stood up, listening as orders were given in, was that Russian?
One took notice and spoke in English for her sake, “Clean him up, dress the wounds. Make sure he’s ready.” With that the men in black were gone, and she was left with a medical kit and the man in black sitting in the chair in front of her. She was nervous, but she knew him, would he hurt her? How long had it been since she had last seen him? Bucky. She thought to herself as she started to get the medical supplies.

Amelia opened the front door of her new home, stepping forward into the empty living room. She took a deep breath, placing her large black suitcase down before glancing around. She locked the door behind her as Amelia stepped further into the room. Currently, she didn’t have too much on her. Most of her things from New York were being mailed out to the house.
This...was going to be a new start for Amelia.
She put the bookbag down beside the couch before she sat down upon it. Honestly, Amelia hadn’t realized how tired she was until she sat down. Then again, this whole month had been emotionally exhausting for the young woman. She finally curled up on her side, her eyes shutting as her body relaxed, almost drifting off to sleep.
