Happy Good Friday! Here are some reusable alternatives to some household essentials
Intro
Hi, I’m Nasua Lee. Last night I saw a BBC documentary about climate change, and it hit me fully: This is happening, and if we don’t change our ways, it will get much worst very soon. The experts have calculated that we have 10 years to change our lifestyle or the global warming will become irreversible. Stick w/ me and I’ll give tips on the little things we can all do, what I personally am doing, and all the updates we need. <3
Hi guys. This list might look like it’s asking a lot, and I know I for one love my holidays but we need to make some sacrifices so that future generations don’t suffer. Start small: try buying more locally sourced food instead of imported goods, as this will lower demand for imports therefore reducing the carbon released in the air travels (to import). Try to reduce your shower lengths, I’m currently trying for 4 minutes and then I’ll try to cut it again. Buying reusable bags is an easy one for everyone. My advice: set yourself a goal, maybe to do one of these things, or maybe several by the end of the month. <3
Your Limitations is Your Imagination. There are Universal Laws of What a Human Cannot Do, but It's Doesn't Mean We Cannot Find Means and Ways to Do it. For Example, in the next thousand years of Human Evolution, We most Probably still Can't Fly by Ourselves. But We Created Instruments that allowed us to Cross Mountains and Oceans in hours and even to the Space. Hundred Years ago, Continent Travel would take Months, Now It just Takes Hours. If You Travelled back in time and told People that is our "Normal Day" Life, they would have thought you are Crazy, and for you to live in that era, You would also think they would be Crazy to embark on such a long Journey. "Sky is the Limits" Because They Didn't Know About Space. And Only when You get to the Sky, You'll Discover Space. Take Actions Towards Your Sky Today. P.S. "Don't Let What You Cannot Do Interfere With What You Can Do." - John Wooden Our Past Does Not Define Us. If It is not Helping Us, Cast it Aside and Focus on What We Can Do Now. "𝘼𝙙𝙖𝙥𝙩 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙛𝙪𝙡, 𝙍𝙚𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙐𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙙𝙙 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙞𝙨 𝙎𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙊𝙬𝙣." - Bruce Lee The Past Does not Decide the Future, The Future Can Always Change by What We Do Now. By Focusing on What We Can, We Expand Our Capabilities and Capacity, which Could Eventually Reach the Levels that Previously We Can't. Thus Always Focus on What We Can Do Now - Time Is Precious. P.S. We all acknowledge that climate change is a pressing issue but do we really understand. Do we really understand that everything in the world that we claim ownership over belongs to mother nature. Our clothes are made from fibres grown in the earth. Our houses made from bricks that are made from clay from the earth. Our paper is made for trees that populate the earth. Even our coins are made from metals which were extracted from the earth. We have taken and taken and taken. When do we start giving back? Can we not even take a step back to realise there is NO FUTURE if we continue. There will be nothing. We say there is only one planet and its true. This is our only home. If there's a God or cosmic force it sure as hell wouldn't give us another planet after the way we treated this one.

Well. Sorry for non-Sashiko topic again. It keeps bugging me. I believe this relates to Sashiko in a deeper level. I watched several Greta’s speech. I agree with what she advocates. We need to be serious with the environmental issue. One thing, however, there is one thing I felt “strange”. ☆ In my opinion, no dispute based on broad categorization should happen. It is the beginning of a sad ending. Here, the environmental issue shouldn’t be a fight between “youth” vs “adults”. It is a fight of BOTH youth and adults to change the system. It should be “humanity” vs “system (power of money)”, not a child vs an adult based on the civilization we appreciate. Denying the parents and ancestors could result in denying oneself. I have done so much of denying my family (in Sashiko), and I wasn’t happy back then. ☆ Same goes to Sashiko. Please try to respect the Origin. I am NOT saying one should do ONLY the original or traditional Sashiko. Please enjoy what you like. However, willing to learn the traditional will make everyone on the same line - less arguing and more caring, and that’s the reason I share. We are on the same line - not fighting over the line.
