Today started just like any other day. For once their lives weren’t hectic, even with the laundering scheme going on in the background. But... that would have to be put on hold for a year... give or take. Gin didn’t have a chance to tell him just yet, though. Because there was even better news. She had gotten up early to tend to the animals outside, even taking Theo with her. Who has not left her side for two weeks, at this point. And with good reason. She knew something that Justin did not.
When she came back in with the “Mail” she set it on the kitchen table and she was munching away on some bacon and pancakes. There was a soft-sided envelope that took up a considerable place where Justin would be eating, it was addressed to him, with no return address.
It took everything in her to hide the smirk back and she looked up at him when he came into the kitchen, all sleepy eyed. “Hi honey” She smiled and motioned, with her fork, to his package. “You’ve got mail. You order somethin’?” She asked.
The soft-sided package was something he did not order, rather, she ordered and disguised it at her office with a new envelope and managed to sneak it in past him when she got home the night before. Inside it was a t-shirt and a pregnancy test that was positive. The t-shirt had a saying on it that she would grin stupidly when she thought about it, remembering the last time this joke came up.
