#11. This blue fish jar is so firmly imprinted in my memory as part of the furniture of my childhood. The raisin pot brought down off a high shelf to add something sweet to our breakfast. Lidded porcelaneous-stoneware jar with a blue slip over painted wax-resist with iron decoration and a pale celadon glaze (H 16cm; D 10cm; mark ‘eye’ and ‘small m’)
