I've read a gazillion self-help books, met with professionals, joined groups, watched TED Talks, etc, for many things I've wanted to straighten out in my life. I'm learning now that bringing the transformative work inside is what works best. Otherwise it's too tempting to try to meet someone else's standard and beat yourself up for not getting there.
