just drew some of my favourite synthv songs. There are a lot more that i really like (yesterday just discovered neurodivergence), but this takes quite some time already the songs here are: - the medical anomaly - kyu kurarin - ego renegade boy - ouch! - when spring comes (roundtable reprise) - the court jester My taste is quite weird. When spring comes is definitely one of my favourite songs of all time though (the original version is still a masterpiece, but i prefer the remix :/)

the roundtable reprises for cardiac contrepoint are also flavours of love, actually. like papparazi murder party will not give you that impression at first but listening to both snowflake and when spring comes makes that extremely obvious

to give something to compare it to; butcher's vanity, upon first listen, will not make you think of love as its theme either, but yi xi does sing outright that it's 'my love's precision' and refers to her recipient as 'my love' so it's a little easy to figure out. it's a form of obsessive, unrestrained love

papparazi murder party isn't quite the same as butcher vanity's obsessive love, though it shares a similar tone with the obsession and such. i'd argue it's specifically meant to refer to parasocial love, or at least the ugliest parts of it. the part where one projects their own thoughts on the other person to their self-satisfaction

omg i didnt notice that actually. i mostly didnt count the roundtable reprises, due to, well, them being reprises. just old songs that were remade and put some extra polish on as well as new vocals. but yeah they do count. too
