AU where everyone has popular youtube channels/livestreams/tiktoks and they've become regular collaborators. All of them have built their careers from the ground up except for Steve who was already rich when he started and was able to put out high quality videos from the jump.

He gets a lot of flack from the others for being 'the rich friend' even though they all have similar net worths at this point. However, that's nothing compared to when the kids, Robin and Eddie host a livestream on April Fools Day where they're rating (talking absolute shit about) weird luxury fashion and Steve walks in wearing the shirt they just spent half an hour verbally tearing to shreds. They laugh so hard they can't breathe and have to end the stream early.

Steve in the ugly luxury shirt becomes an internet meme to the point that the gang decides that rating fashion is going to be a recurring thing because the first one was such a hit. The next fashion review opens on all of them wearing the ugly shirt™️ and grinning while Steve sits there in a more normal outfit with his arms crossed and a pout on his face.

Needless to say they all have very different opinions and their attempt to make it a tier list thing falls apart on the very first outfit because half of them want to put in S tier, the other half wants it in F and none of them are willing to compromise.

That's nothing compared to when they review the met gala looks and a physical fight almost breaks out.

Also they do a review of sexy halloween outfits at some point. After, Steve looks over the list at the beginning and just completely casually says, "Oh hey I have a few of these" Eddie is completely zoned out and red faced for the entirety of the video. The comments are all various versions of 'what's with the look Eddie's giving Steve at this timestamp ___?'.

I've mentioned that Ukyo's strength is undersold before (we see proof of that in two days time)#but I honestly kind of love the fact that he is the ONE GUY who is a fighter #is physically strong #but is still just too much of a twink for the power team #they've got Kohaku! Kinro and Ginro are counted sometimes too #arguably at other times they (Ginro especially) do also fall into the same boat as Ukyo there admittedly #but even they are more consistently treated as part of the fighters/the muscle of the kingdom than Ukyo #Ukyo's just sort of here #he's strong enough/skilled enough to help but by some combination of others' underestimation of him and his own self doubt #he's separated out from all of the other fighters and physically strong folks #which has so much potential for shenanigans you guys you have to stay with me on this #any situation where he's somehow with mostly non-power team people or if any power team members are there they're rendered helpless #something happens where they suddenly need someone with a lot of physical strength or fighting skill #maybe things are dire or maybe they're just dreading the long walk back to grab someone with such skills to take care of it #when Ukyo just #wordlessly handles it with ease?#and they're just like huh. #hollow knight #little ghost #hk ghost #the knight #hk hornet #hornet #alright. as of writing these tags it's been a week since the original dream so! let's see what i remember dgsgsgf #i was playing a game. which was a sequel to hollow knight ((Not silksong though))#there was some new sort of divine infection in hallownest and hornet had asked ghost to investigate it. they ended the last one after all!#the red glowy spike gate thingy is what you jumped into to enter the 'infected' areas #though it actually led directly to a hub world type of place. which was kinda like an expanded base for the grimm troupe?#more like an entire lair instead of a camp. also some greek gods were there for some reason lmao. they had their own special rooms too #so sidenote but- new headcanon that there are grimm troupe members named ares athena artemis &... venus lmao. not aphrodite for some reason #also monomon was there?? i think??? except she was cooking????? she had a sidequest to deliver something to someone though i dunno hdgfhdgh #i remember going back to the grimm troupe lair a couple times throughout my 'playthrough'#anyway. the 'infection' this time around was more of a glitchy physical corruption thing? rather than a mind corruption.#though there were still aggressive enemies to fight. but i remember getting a map from cornifer early on and he was. probably infected #i think part of his body was covered in electricity or something? so he wasn't fully visible? but he was still acting normally #there was also a moth who was the seer but then later wasn't the seer (but was still the same moth) dghgdhf. i delivered stuff to her #that glowing white wall thing in the drawing was like a one-way gate. you could only cross it from the other side and ghost came from there #i guess things looped back up somehow i dunno ghdgfhgf #anyway. ghost's red eyes. those are significant! those happened while i was walking through a corridor. it had pools of shallow water #(shallow enough to just walk through) and also creatures that were lightseeds but red.the implication was that they were full of Blood lmao #and as i went along killing them--as one does--as i walked through the hall. they started turning the water red too #there was also narration about this as it was happening ashdgsf. specifically the narrator said the water turned red before it actually did #ghost's eyes slowly turned red too. but aside from that they were fine! since. they're the player character and the player is perfectly fin #BUT. when they encountered hornet again. she thought they were infected. and that she lost the only family she had left </3 #she didn't attack though. instead she just jumped into the red spike gate without a word. decided to try to fix everything herself #but eventually you'd encounter her again down below and she'd fight you. didn't actually get to that in the dream though #aand i'm out of tags </3 i wanted to talk about what i'd do to make this make more sense as an au or something now that i'm awake but. :c

#all of my self inserts are extremely indulgent and are locked into my Brain #but there's one concept that I've been thinking of lately that's vry fun and I've been tossing it about in my brain #they're a baby born from a templar father who managed to escape some time around 15 or 16 #they began training from a very early age as their father wanted a soldier who could go head to head with the assassin's on their own turf #alot of cultish and bad stuff happened but they were managed to be rescued by a novice who became their first friend ^-^#most assassin's are still skittish and untrusting of her considering her templar upbringing but she was kinda... indoctrinated? from birth?#and had wanted to leave YEARS ago but only managed it in their teen years #but anyway. she usually works alone or with her two other assassin friends as one: no one really trusts her to begin with #and two: big BIG anxiety that makes it hard to work with people when they know that they're largely seen as a threat or liability #she's pretty high on the assassin ranking though! and their little team has a damn high success rate so vry few people have reason-#to complain. mostly newer recruits or those with a BIG grudge against templars in general #anyway physical description time. theyre like altair and that they only rly wear lighttttt armor. heavy or even mid armor is a big NO #vry vry sneaky and patient. is mostly an opportunistic assassin and relies more of stealthy tactics than brute force #but because of this they are NOT a super heavy fighter. usually tries to lean on surprise and skill rather than 1v1 fighting #if force comes to shove though they can most def fight. but tries to flee the moment they find an opening #is pretty mute! keeps things close to her chest and is still in the process of learning to trust anyone at all. even assassin's #wears black and white feathered earrings as well as small golden hoops. has a bunch of piercings #is much MUCH on the smaller. slimmer side but it actually kinda works cause most dont clock her as an assassin at first glance #this makes them good for infiltration and scouting work!#best pair for them is a more brute force assassin who leans towards defense :]#theyre a lil guy. I love them alot. they also have some isu bullshit going on that I might explain

Doodledex - #874 Stonjourner

Resembling the various standing stones seen around Turffield (...as well as parts of the real-world Stonehenge), Stonjourner are often seen standing out in grasslands watching the sun set. They also tend to gather in circles on a specific date and time each year for some mysterious reason... which, out-of-universe, might be related to a theory about the people who built Stonehenge only visiting it during the winter solstice! (Y’know... probably for some ritual.)

Because standing stone monuments like Stonehenge are also thought to be “places of power”, Stonjourner also fulfills this role... in battle, with its signature ability Power Spot! While it does nothing for Stonjourner itself, any partner its fighting with in a Double Battle gets a boost to their attacks! As a result, it’s pretty much built for Double Battles! (....Well, aside from its abysmal Special Attack and Special Defense stats... the latter is partly solved by it getting access to Wonder Room, but Stonjourner needs the opportunity to use it.)
