Throwback to a year ago when I was really poorly after my body rejected my suprapubic catheter and my dad and cousins convinced my mum to let me go for “a drive in the car” in my pjs to Costa drive through, which we did... however they also snuck me (including my Zimmer frame, indwelling catheter, and my bag of blood filled piss) into Joe’s ice cream 🍦 much to the bemusement of the staff there 😂! I was so sad, so scared, and in so much pain... we had the hospice visiting daily to monitor my recovery and I was drugged to kingdom come. And these amazing humans did something so seemingly small that made me so happy 😁🥰. Although I was far too scared to tell my mum in person, so I sent her these photos 🙈😂 sorry mum! We did take her an ice cream and got chocolate back!
