I only visited this city for less than an hour, and that was my biggest mistake of the day. It was beautiful, and full of little things to discover! The sky was grey for most of the day, but if you were there you'd still see the turquoise water that is not common in Europe. And there was free drinking fountains too I believe, though I couldn't be certain if they were meant for drinking from... This was the first time I'd seen such an informal and relaxed airport. It was a hot summer day and this city had lots of places outdoors to sit under the shade and cool down. I loved walking around the canals and through the green parks in the middle of the city. The main attraction was the riverside near the the old town though. This place truly felt magical. Even though we were there at high noon, it was an amazing vibe with all the restaurants, patios, and outdoor lounges lining the river bank, cruise boats and intercity connection ferries beckoning, and a cool breeze refreshing our spirits.
