I wanted to do something a little different this year.  I don’t follow very many blogs (I keep the number around 50) so I can always see everything that shows up on my dash.  So please know that if I follow you at all, you’re one of a very select few.  But of those 50 blogs, I have a few that are very special to me.  I wanted to take some time to tell you all what you mean to me.

@aboxfullofdarkness Amy, my dear Twinsie, I don’t think I would ever be THIS into tumblr if it weren’t for you.  Your presence on my dash and in my life is so important to me.  I love our chats and our headcanon sessions and I love that we can vent to each other and talk about everything under the sun.  I adore you.

@anightlybarmitzvahinthemix Omg Maddeigh who would have thought that me giving you my number while drunk would have led to such a great Jew relationship???  I love you and I love how you’re always working for more in your life and it’s very inspiring.

@applebottomclaudiajeans Oh Brooke, my amazing wifey, your life is so awesome.  2015 has been such a great exciting year for you and I love watching you live your dreams <3

@comepraisetheinfanta RAQUEL MY SMOL OWL!!!!  There are not enough words in the universe to describe how much better you’ve made my life.  I’m so glad Jules told me to follow your blog and then we randomly found out we live in the same city.  You make everything better.  And you get me and support me like no one else.  I adore you.

@for-the-love-of-langston I’ve told a few people and now I’m telling you that I know I’m a really great writer and I read other people’s stuff and I find their stuff to be good but different from me.  But then there’s you.  You are quite honestly a better writer than me, one of the best I’ve ever read.  Your blog makes me crazy because I love it so so so so much.  Never stop.

@free-to-be-me-myself-i ANNIE! I miss sitting side by side, me in my throne and you on the couch, browsing tumblr and watching netflix together.  Living with you was the best year of my life, and being your friend makes me so happy all the time.

@hellogumdrop What can I say about Nikki?  Probably one of my favorite people I follow.  You’re hilarious and clever and have great taste in everything.  AND YOU ARE SO PRETTY!  You’re great.  Keep doing that.

@holy-interruptus-batman Jules, you are one of the most incredibly beautiful and strong people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.  I hope you know how important you are always.  Thank you so much for being in my life.

@jethrobartlet It seems strange to me that I didn’t speak to you before like 2 months ago?  We’ve gotten so close so quickly and I adore you so much.  Keep being awesome and being so encouraging and such a delight <3

1:First musical you saw? Oh gosh, I don’t even know.  On stage, I think Beauty and the Beast when I was about six or so.  But I watched the VHS of Funny Girl when I was probably four.  It was my favorite movie when I was little.

2:Last musical you saw? I saw an opera a few weeks ago, but that doesn’t count, does it?  Before that, I saw Shrek in San Francisco with my aunt about two or three years ago.  It’s been ages since I’ve gotten to see a musical live.  Though I watch movie musicals and bootlegs all the time.

12:Favorite actress(es)? Excluding European musical stars and movie musical stars (ie just Broadway): Patti LuPone, Bernadette Peters, Laura Benanti, Marin Mazzie, Audra McDonald, Bebe Neuwirth. (I’m cliche and I don’t care at all)

14:Most underrated musical(s)? I don’t think Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat gets enough credit.  It’s ridiculous, but the music is extremely diverse and some of the lyrics blow me away.  Also, I think Love Never Dies deserves a run on Broadway and I will fight anyone who tells me it sucks.

18:Favorite musical number(s)? To perform? Hello Dolly (from Hello Dolly).  To watch? Literally anything from Chicago as well as Dancing Through Life from Wicked.  I love big ensemble numbers.

23:Least favorite movie musical(s)? Carousel sucks, but mostly because that show is such a downer, despite the gorgeous music.  Les Mis, because that show deserves better than a Hollywood-infused excuse for star power.

Yes, film and theatre are different mediums.  :)

I speak in perfect English although sometimes I migFilm and theatre are different mediums.ht use terms or jargon that are difficult to understand for someone who is not heavily involved in the Hollywood process.  This is particularly true for those intimately familiar with another, lesser medium like theatre, who will no doubt be completely baffled by anything I am saying.

BEBE AS VELMA OR BEBE AS MORTICIA?

I'm sorry I can't hear you over how much pain this caused me.  I refuse to choose.  Velma for dancing, Morticia for acting.  She's perfect in both parts for different reasons.
