Geralt and glasses.
Spurred on by my own recent frustration with my pair of glasses. I think I have a good record with mine. Have never broken a pair, rarely scratch the lenses, kept in very decent condition. But I get so frustrated when I end up cleaning them at least three times a week, sometimes having to do the process twice in a row! My face is just that oily I guess. Still. ><.

Geralt is constantly losing his glasses. For a being as long-lived as he is, it's not completely surprising that he would have some type of macular degeneration. So when his current physician tells him that the blurriness he's experiencing can only be fixed with glasses, Geralt reacts just as you would expect him to.
Stubborn.
Jaskier knew he would react like this. You don't exist in someone's primary orbit for most of your life and not know their quirks.
At first, he refuses to wear them. Utterly and completely. Claims they're too deep in their equipment bag, getting them would cost time that could be useful to the hunt. Say that he's fine without them, refusing to acknowledge that he can't see the difference between fool's parsley and arenaria. But he gives in, eventually, as everyone does. The appeal of seeing the finer details of life pass by is too big to give up completely.
So Geralt wears his glasses.
As a result, Jaskier decides that he's got to be prepared.
When Geralt loses his glasses, Jaskier has a new pair ready for him at a moment's notice. When Geralt breaks a pair, Jaskier has a quick repair set on hand, ready to put it back together (even if that means just taping it together until their eye doctor can do a more professional repair).
But one thing he wasn't expecting was just how frustrated Geralt gets at needing to have his glasses lenses clean. Geralt knows that his job requires him to have the keenest eyesight, so it drives him nuts when he's unable to see past the smudges and debris that cloud them.
However, Jaskier is prepared for that as well.
When Geralt gets frustrated at the dirtiness, Jaskier cleans them.
When he cleans them, he gently takes them from Geralt's face. He tuts softly, giving Geralt a soft smile. He hums as he goes to get the cleaning supplies: a gently scented cleanser (because the harsh astringent bothers Geralt's nose far more than the light touch of scented oil) and the softest blue cloth.
Leaning against Geralt's shoulder, Jaskier takes his time with each lens, bringing it up to the light several times to make sure that any and all streaks and debris are gone. His humming is just as soft as the light, calming down an agitated Geralt, grounding him. He steps up to Geralt, so close the tips of their noses are touching.
Giving him that same soft smile, Jaskier gently fits the glasses back onto Geralt's face. He strokes the strong bridge of Geralt's nose when the glasses are in place. His fingers then rest on Geralt's cheeks as Geralt grumbles until the glasses feel comfortable again. He watches the focus return to Geralt's eyes, flushing with happiness as the pupils suddenly expand.
Once Geralt has settled, Jaskier guides Geralt's head down so he can place a soft, chaste kiss right in the middle of Geralt's forehead. He misses when Geralt's eyes close at the kiss, unable to hold back his reaction to the overwhelming feeling of comfort and love that runs through his body, but he feels it when a smile overtakes Geralt's lovely face.
