it’s a great honor and ava knows it. to be wed to a prince ( though some may argue that is simply the duty of a princess ) and to be so warmly accepted by his family, most of all his father. it’s unexpected, certainly, but she’ll make no complaints of it if it means a happy marriage and a peaceful union between their countries. still, there’s a surprise in her when he summons her to see her alone; he only wishes to know you better, she assures herself though she can feel her heart fluttering against the cage of her ribs.
