I think most of the hatred for Batman V Superman comes from assuming that its a film about Superman. Its an understandable mistake since 'Superman' is right there in the title, and its a direct sequel to Man of Steel(which was about Superman), but its also wrong. Its not a film about Superman.
Its a film about normal people's reaction TO Superman. Its about what the sudden appearance of this seemingly indestructible alien being means to people. Some people worship him, Lex wants that power for himself. And Bruce wants to destroy him, believing that the very existence of such a being is inherently a threat to humanity.
The protagonist/pov character is not Clark, its Bruce. All that stuff about 'ooooo...Snyder wants to paint Superman as an unfeeling alien god' thats Bruce's perception of Superman. A perception he realizes towards the end of the film is wrong.
Seriously watch the film again with the mindset of 'this is Bruce Wayne's story' and see if it doesnt change your perspective of it.
