Dumb EDAs/Faction Paradox Theory

If:

The Enemy is “another type of history”, and

The Enemy was created (according to The Ancestor Cell) by leakage from the bottle universe, and

The bottle universe contains the VNAs, then

The Enemy is the VNAs.

Not just from the VNAs, it is the VNAs trying to assert themselves as canon. The War in Heaven is just between the EDAs Gallifrey and the VNAs Gallifrey, each of which calls the other “the Enemy”.

What is something that she fears considerably in her own quest to heal herself, and why does she fear it?

She fears her own curiousity. Her search for high insight, for following her curiousity without really putting any limits on herself, especially as Yharnam got worse and worse, is a huge part of why she did the things she did. And she regrets having to take so many lives (and taking even more than she needed). After waking up from the Dream, she still lives as a Hunter, and due to her connection to the Nightmare and the Dream not being fully severed, she remembers bits and pieces of it. Because of this, she knows just how dangerous curiousity can be, and tries to keep her own in check.

She doesn’t want to go down the path that the first Hunters and the Church went down when they desecrated the Fishing Hamlet. Not again.

Once she finally leaves Yharnam (though she did bring a couple things with her), she lets those rules and boundaries that she set for herself to regulate her curiousity become looser, and turns her attention to letting her curiosity lead to study anthropology, linguistics, and similar things. That way she can lead into her curiousity without worrying about going insane/endangering lives.

where ppl write ed as just generally prone to falling hard and fast only to be too much for people and ending up hurt and closing himself off because of it

and then he meets stede who is someone who can finally meet him where he is with the intensity

but my issue with that is

that's...not accurate

metatextually djenks has told us outright, explicitly multiple times in numerous ways and on numerous occasions

that ed, while he's probably more "physically experienced" than stede is given stede's situation, much like stede, ed has NEVER felt this way about anyone before. they react the way they do not just because they fell for each other like a ton of bricks and are the love of each other's life and fell in love at first sight and SEE and GET each other in a way that they've never been SEEN or UNDERSTOOD before, but because they've also never been in love before and have zero experience in feeling so strongly about anyone.

and within the text itself it is explicit that ed has never acted like this before, he's never made himself vulnerable like this before, he's never had a friend before, no one who knows him has ever seen him like this before, and on and on

i get how people arrive at him just being like this, because the man is ridiculously down bad and is crying on the floor of his secret closet for months having wedding fantasies over a guy he knew for three weeks and kissed chastely once. so ppl think, oh well obviously he falls fast and hard!
