At which point timeline wise does the BB gang get sent to Hisui? Is it after the Red Sky incident? Before? What are the reactions of people in hisui to even more weird people with amnesia?

Also, I’m curious about your headcanons about Drayton’s family. What’s his relationship with his grandpa? Is Iris his sister, cousin, something else? Who’s older and how much? Are you a supporter of the head canon that Emmet and Ingo are connected to Draydon? If yes, I’m what way?

I think Drayton's relationship with his family is complicated. Being part of Drayden's family comes with a lot of pressure and while I have no doubt in my mind that Drayden truly loves his grandson, this is the guy who travelled across the entire world to find the perfect successor. He has big expectations for Drayton and it frustrates him that Drayton is failing to meet them so drastically, especially when he knows Drayton is capable of doing so much better. It's giving "the men in this family would rather die than gain any emotional awareness or talk about their feelings". There's just a fundamental miscommunication between these two.

And Iris is the perfect successor. She became the champion of the entire Unova region when she was like fifteen at the oldest. I will stand by big sister Iris until the day I die and I know she adores this kid with all her heart, but it was a lot easier for these two when they were younger (I generally put about an eight year age gap between the two, lowest I've ever gone is four). It's really hard to have a good relationship with somebody you're constantly being compared to, as badly as I imagine it must fuck with Drayton that he has such a hard time truly connecting with Iris as he did before the weight of being Drayden's grandson really settled in. At the same time, I think Iris is Drayton's number one cheerleader, especially when Drayden gets really nag-y. She stands with her problematic brother.

I really adore submas being Drayden's nephews! In the leaks it was revealed that at least at some point in development Drayden was going to have a brother, so. Anyways I think that makes them Drayton's cousins once removed? Idk I'm not searching it up. Since their relation is a bit distant and they live in different cities, I don't think Drayton is super close to them, but I imagine the whole family was shaken pretty badly by Ingo's dissappearence. Again for Drayton it was a bit more indirectly through Drayden (pointing again to "the men in this family would rather die than gain any emotional awareness or talk about their feelings").

Iris and Drayton are absolutely some of my favorite pokemon characters so I love pondering their family situation I could talk about them for hours. Thanks for allowing me to ramble a bit lol!
