the character dynamics are different, but there are certain similarities in the way that Kaiba approaches Atem and the way Jou approaches Kaiba, and song lyrics tend to be vague and open enough that they can really go either way

do you think pegasus is actually a villain or an "evil" character? he seems nice enough especially as the series goes on but like he still took people's souls and held a child captive etc etc. where do you personally draw the morality line here

y’all are pulling out the heavy morality questions lmao. 

ummmm, i think he was a person with a good motivation (cecilia/cyndia) who very much lost his way in his obsession to achieve that goal. but good intentions do not make for good actions, nor do they excuse bad actions. 

duelist kingdom era, i think he’s a villain (and bit of a creep) for sure. like, how he treats mokuba is awful. but i’m not sure i see him as a fundamentally evil person. and in the anime, he seems to try to do a lot from that point forward to redeem himself (giving yugi the prize money because he realized joey needed it, season 4, the pyramid of light movie, etc.)

the best part about jou being on the walking dead is that he'd be so fucking terrified 100% of the time and totally do so much dumb stuff in a mad panic but he would absolutely be the only one who lives in the end LMAO ya boi's a survivor

Right?!? Like he’d be the one who makes sure everyone checked and rechecked a location because he KNOWS he saw something moving in that window. He’d be surrounded by zombies and fucking SCREAMING, just starts swinging and charging and makes it through a horde. But seriously, zombie apocalypse would be his worst nightmare. Though I’m imagining Bakura just friggin LIVING!! He is ready for this! He somehow has all these weapons already. Jounouchi is a little worried about him.

who’s the cuddler: Jounouchi. I usually don’t picture Ryou being a super touchy person, so I feel like Jounouchi would initiate it the most. Not that Ryou complains. He likes how sweet Jou is to him and its kinda nice to just be wrapped up into someone. Its warm and safe. 

who makes the bed: Ryou. I see Ryou being a very night owl person, so he usually wakes up at like 3pm. Way after Jou woke up. So he usually makes the bed after he rises.

who wakes up first: To refer back to the previous one, its Jou. I mean he doesn’t wake up super early if he can help it. But, Ryou is definitely a night owl. He works on his tabletop stuff at night, sometimes getting really into that he forgets the time. Also, I’m Headcanoning that he works at a radio station overnight. So He usually wakes up at like 3 or 4 in the afternoon. 

who has the weird taste in music: Ryou. Jounouchi doesn’t know what half those songs are. They’re creepy, he swears some of them are chanting rituals. Or its death metal. Jou doesn’t judge though……too much. Though one night Jou was minding his own business, sleeping peacefully. That was until he bolted awake to some woman’s BANSHEE SCREAM right in his ear!!! Ryou’s music was connected to their wifi speakers. Which is fine except, Ryou wasn’t home to turn on the music……….Jou slept at Honda’s that night………and the rest of the week until Ryou’s days off again. 

who is more protective: Jounouchi is the one who usually showcases his protective side. Ryou’s been through so much. Jou always feels a slight need to make sure he’s ok. That no one is messing with him. That he’s not getting himself into any trouble. But I think if Jou every got himself into any real danger, if anyone tried to hurt him. A little darker side of Ryou would probably show through.

who sings in the shower: Jounouchi. All the way. Jounouchi is a good singer, though he doesn’t really like to sing in front of people too much. So he usually sticks to singing in the shower, where he thinks no one can hear him. 

who cries during movies:  When its Ryou’s turn to pick the movie, Jounouchi starts crying before it starts. (Oh, come on Katsuya! This is only a slight psychological horror movie! And its in first person! It helps you really get into it! You’ll love it.) (Ryou……..why…….)

who spends the most while out shopping: I don’t think either one is really a huge spender when they are out. I would think probably Ryou though. He might find something really interesting that he must have for his collection of stuff. 

who kisses more roughly: I think Jou would be a bit more rough. Though I honestly don’t see Ryou complaining about it. It would definitely be something he would return. Though again, Jou would also be the one who would give forehead kisses and a thousand little light pecks all over Ryou face. 

who is more dominate: Neither? Again, I just don’t see one being dominate over the other. 

my rating of the ship from 1-10: 10/10. Honestly this ship is just great. Its sweet. Definitely one of my fave side ships I have :-)

just saw the thing you reblogged of kaiba in a christmas sweater and i gotta say last christmas i drew a thing where kaiba's decorating his half of the christmas tree and it's so beautifully decorated and then jou's like "oh i'm done" and kaiba sees his half and it's a fucking nightmare just like shit everywhere and the star on top of the tree is a small plush of the swordsman of landSTAR LMAO IM DUMB. i never finished it or posted it RIP

Oh……..my god. I can’t stop laughing!! Because you KNOW that would friggin happen!! I’m just imagining like they have guests over or something and Kaiba has the tree turned so like Jou’s side is hidden. He leaves the room for five friggin seconds and when he comes back, Jou’s side in all its glory is in full view for everyone. Jou’s just standing there with the smuggest look. DON’T YOU BE ASHAMED OF ME KAIBA!! This is OUR tree!! Seriously you need to finish that and post it!! I bet it’s amazing!!
