Bubb Rubb running unopposed for Piedmont City Council

Whistle tip pioneer and small business entrepreneur Bubb Rubb is running unopposed for Piedmont City Council. Business leaders from the small, largely Republican enclave surrounded by Oakland said that they endorse Rubb for the city office. They argue that he's a self-made man and that the government didn't give him any handouts as he worked with Lil' Sis to become Oakland’s third most popular whistle tip installation garage.

The spokesman for Piedmont's Chamber of Commerce said in a press conference backing Rubb's candidacy: "It's entrepreneurs like Bob Rudd [sic] we need to bring back America's manufacturing base. We need forward-thinking leaders like him not giving his employees Obamacare, not worrying about Big Government regulations trying to take away his livelihood. Bob [sic] is a great example of what the American Dream can accomplish, and he has the support Piedmont, and the Chevron refinery."
