have you considered how removing race from "men" as a demographic simply makes you revert back to centering whiteness. when whiteness is the baseline removing other traits from "men" means you are talking about that baseline, abstract concept. "i hate men" does not refer to "men". you cannot say you are referring to "men, not men of colour!" you are not doing that. you are not talking about "men", you are talking about white men. you are using "men" to refer to white men. we've been saying this about transhood so let's talk about how it impacts bipoc too
