Alterhuman Stories is Open!
This blog is a flash fiction writing blog dedicated to creating more alterhuman literature through user-submitted prompts.
This is the way it works: You put your writing requests (as simple or as complex as you please) into our magical ask box, and the authors within will whittle it away into.... something. Hopefully something good! Just be aware that extremely detailed requests will be harder for our authors to fulfill; we are trying to keep to a 1,500 word limit!
While prompts are encouraged to be about alterhumanity or nonhumanity to at least some degree, this blog does accept generic prompts as well. Be warned, however, that without direction the authors will do their best to turn any generic prompt into an alterhuman one through the use of their patented Alterhumanpromptinator.
We do not accept prompts that include erotica, are about named real-life individuals (such as a fellow Tumblr user, or a well-known celebrity), or that target specific groups of people (i.e. “Write a story about how much {blank} sucks.”). We also do not accept poetry, lyrical, or comic writing requests due to author limitations.
This blog is supportive of endogenic systems and systems who do not use origin terms.
