OH MY SWEET HANNAH BANANA (I’m sorry to anyone named that you must be so tired of this nickname and here i am)
Hannah is my mean track & field harpy. (i might rework her bird inspo to match her hair better than this pic at some point, but it’s all i got atm!!) she’s kind of a femme jock? lesbian and is very lazy, with a super dry monontonous voice. she’s dating a makeup student and equally dry weretiger named edyth (who belongs to dye) and they’re unreasonably dry and snarky together. aw.
White Outlines is a slice-of-life about various supernatural students! I’d say it’s a lgbtqia + romance/drama + young adult genre? It’s a branch off of @dyemelikeasunset’s old Saladays universe/project/comic. They worked on it a lot when we met in 2009, so it was one of the first collaborations I did with them! double aw.
WoL is a string of one-shots all tied together by the fact all my main characters have the same on-campus guidance councilor, and a lot of the stories take place in his office as the characters recall and work through their problems with him! You see a lot of these characters in the backgrounds of each other’s stories, but not all of them know each other or interact in each other’s stories directly. Hence the one-shot nature. (At least for now.)
who the main characters are and how many there are keeps changing, and there’s a possibility that there may not even BE a set number of main characters at some point. it’s just kinda what’s left of the massive pile of RP characters I had in post high-school. To be frank, WoL is one of those projects that doesn’t have the best foundation as a story lmao!!! 19 year old Bee popped out unfinished characters left and right on a whim and stuffed them into the same school (to populate it) and let plot just “come to me” so it was a ROYAL MESS to keep up with. You can imagine a LOT changed as I got older; I’ve cut the cast of this story down to a 1/3rd of its original roster and changed the characters in it so drastically so many times they may be unrecognizable ahaha. I’ve even rehashed some of them into other universes like OoC, or recycled them into adoptables, etc… I *probably* had over 70 characters at one point for this project and it was Too Much. (༎ຶ⌑༎ຶ)
I might *actually* be moving WoL to be a college story instead. it would open up a lot of options and the characters have grown so much with me and been redesigned so many times that I have a hard time seeing them as teens as much as some of our other stories like Sam&Sara and Sleep Tight. I alsoooo keep drawing the WoL characters older than they should be and/or aged up for AU garbage so I think it’d be safer to go that direction anyway.
It’s all a working idea for now though, as I have 10 bajillion other projects that I’ve got going and I’m honestly not that passionate about this one just yet? I love a lot of the characters in it, but the story needs some work. ….but you never know when the inspo will strike at 11pm on the toilet so who knows!!!! ¯\_(⊙_ʖ⊙)_/¯
