Fun Facts
-Wids is actually supposed to be a Black Widow, he just dyes himself to hell and back. He is trans so in an attempt to make himself look less like a Black Widow-he just bleaches and blues his entire self. It was orginally his attempt to make himself look more greyish-as Black Widow Males come in shades of greys and occasionally browns-but it just doesn’t ever really hit the mark.
-The Black Widow Subclass of Spider Folk produces some of the tallest females for their grouping, with the males being much MUCH smaller than the females ( think 5′4, 5′5 men with usually average 6′4, 6′7 Females) So Widower is still much much taller than other men which is often very intimidating.
-He often gives old clothes to one of the performers there at the Dante Lounge, Ruby Hulme, as his mother with her shot to hell memory and poor eyesight keeps seeing him as a little spider lady. He and Ruby are good friends because of this.
-AND APPARENTLY ACCORDING TO SOME ARTICLES I JUST LOOKED UP. Blackwidows don’t always EAT their mates. All observations of sexual cannibalism in Widow Spiders has occurred in labs. But when observed in the wild, it’s a relatively rare occurrence.
-He and Kelly Maplewood are siblings. Spider Man and Moth Man Alliance. They do the sibling dance.
