We believe you’re able to learn, grow, and become the best student possible when you prioritize taking care of yourself. Grades, tests, homework, group meetings, after a while (or within 2 weeks of the semester) it all becomes brick-after-brick of stress. Your eyes are on the prize (graduation/stellar GPA/summer) and you forget to take a moment to stop and breathe.
Inspired by the idea of Motivational Mondays we wanted to create our own version. We wanted to provide that moment for you to stop, and breathe.
Taking a moment to be grateful of everything in your life, to enjoy your favorite food, to experience your favorite hobby, these are stop and breathe moments. Studies show that it’s significantly harder to reach your full potential when you’re not exposing yourself to experience positive thoughts.
With that in mind, we present to you: Auxiliary Mondays.
Monday afternoons we’re going to intentionally seek students out to provide their campus with positive thoughts! We’ll post their messages on here (obviously), here, and here.
We here to help you! Even if that means making you stop to take a moment to stop and breathe.
