Makes me wonder if any of these devices are familiar to Percy.
Not because he found and walled them off, but because he was tortured in them as a scared teenage boy.
How much of those stains are of his blood?

Yet more auxiliary pics from the castle upload. Unlike the previous set, these might actually prove useful as they show where the various terrain paints are placed. As I mentioned, the lot was flashing pink so I shared it without terrain paint… but if you’re really keen on having it look exactly like in my game, this post makes for a good reference point. :)
So all that whining over how tough it was to share the furnished castle? Yeah, I wasn’t kidding about that.
And to (finally) wrap up my castle spam posts, here’s the long anticipated garden photoset.
Man, did this garden give me a headache. I left it for last because I was colossally out of ideas what to do with it (guess by that point I was starting to feel pretty worn out by the whole damn castle project), and then when I finally got to it I still wasn’t any the wiser what to do with the layout. The fact that the left and right side aren’t symmetrical certainly didn’t make things any easier, though eventually I was able to figure out a working solution for the issue… or so I think.
The asymmetry isn’t too obvious, is it?
In my usual scatterbrained fashion, I completely forgot I was supposed to post these. Well, here they are now: greenhouse pics!
I’ve been wanting to build a greenhouse for FOREVER, so naturally, this was the part of the castle I was looking forward to decorating the most. It didn’t turn out how I imagined it in my head (but then again, what ever does?) but that’s not to say that I don’t like how it looks. Because I do. Like, a lot. A lot lot. Ironically enough, my inspiration went utterly down the drain when the time came to take pics, so lazy screenshots it is again. Quantity over quality, amirite?
Continuing right where I left off last year, here’s a picspam of random rooms from YOU KNOW WHERE. I didn’t have enough pics of any of these rooms to give them their own post, so I just slapped them all together into one post for your viewing convenience. Please enjoy.
I still owe you photos of the greenhouse and the garden, and after that, we might finally get to see some actual sims at freaking last. It’s been 80 years. 😫
Consistent posting two days in a row? What has gotten into me?! :‘D
Way up on Whitestone Castle’s fourth floor, we have a big, snazzy master bedroom. This was actually one of the first rooms I decorated on the lot, but somehow it ended up being one of the last ones I’m showing off. No particular reason behind it, I’ve just been lazy about sorting through the many pics I’d taken of this room... well, until now!
I’ve got a few more photosets to put together (including of the greenhouse and garden), and once all of that is out of the way, maybe I can finally start working on sharing the fully furnished lot. Fingers crossed!
It seems that my posting pattern pretty much consists of ‘Don’t do anything for a month then appear out of thin air and spam huge-ass posts like nothing happened’. To keep the tradition going, here’s your gratuitous monthly spam post featuring more interior pics of - what else? That damned castle again. Because of course.
The last time I remembered I had a Tumblr we got to see the furnishing in the left wing, so naturally now it’s time for the right one. There’s an airy living/sitting area that looks suspiciously rococo, a small secluded library at the back, and then the upper floor which features a narrow hallway connecting to two rooms that remain unfurnished for now. The general idea was that the pea green room is to be a bedroom and the other one a bathroom, but my game was lagging like mad while I was playing this lot so I said screw it, I’ll decorate ‘em some other time. I’m slightly worried for my PC’s performance after this whole lot is furnished (the Tin Can is struggling with keeping up with this lot even now), but ehhhh. Gotta suffer for beauty, right?
