Community Watch: HOARNFROST is a documentary that chronicles the transformation of Baltimore band Whoarfrost into jazz ensemble Hoarnfrost.  Set in the contemporary scene of the Baltimore Renaissance, this is a profile of some of the heroic musical figures local (and loyal) to the Charm City.

Total madness, recommended for fans of Hella. This is the closest I think you can get to free jazz while still maintaining an actual sense of songwriting / composition in the music, it's really free and wild but you can still feel the riffs and hits somewhere in there.

I saw these guys play a basement show in Maine sometime last year - they drove up all the way from Baltimore (8 hours one-way) for one show!
