An open letter to the publishers of Amanda Moonstone

From the shadows I have observed the actions of the mortal named “Dan Wright”. I have watched as he, with the joy and exuberance of a naive child, has told you about his upcoming book, Amanda Moonstone: The Missing Prince. A story that, he says, is about a young sorceress trying to redeem herself for a past indiscretion. Somehow, he has even managed to convince a publisher to release his story. Some have called this an accomplishment and have praised Dan for such an achievement.

I, on the other hand, know better.

He may have everyone else fooled – but I see through his lies. He is no writer – he is a fraud, a false prophet that must be stopped before he poisons everything and everyone around him. I have remained silent, hoping that the publishers will see through his lies. It would appear, however, their intellect is just as misguided.

So this message I address directly to the publishers of Amanda Moonstone. And I will give this warning only once. Do not release that book. You have no idea of the maelstrom that you are about to unleash. Cancel the publication. Burn the manuscript. Make sure that this story never sees the light of day. Do what you must, but whatever you do – do not allow this iconoclast to gain momentum.

There will be consequences should you take no action. Ignore this warning at your peril.

If you will not take action... then I will.
