I flourish to remember the proper motion. Beyond the aesthetics and the motifs, the sole purpose of flourishing is to learn and exploit the muscular movement. I keep trying metallic inks and nothing gives a hairline as thin and consistent as iron gall and that's a bummer. I keep working in letterforms and learning new/old scripts but I can't seem to be willing to leave aside the pointed pen.
