Someone said Basil reminded them of this song, and honestly it does completely, so here's some art - I love making lyric-based art it's so much fun

Speaking of Basil... She's someone I haven't talked about yet.. So...

Basil is Briar's sister, they were part of the same litter. She, unlike Briar, isn't a Starchild and instead is something called a Cursed One, which were foxes cursed by the moon to try and throw off the magical imbalance that the Starchildren were sent to correct even further.

However, she was unaware of the fact she was a Cursed One, and grew up basically ignored while her sister was worshipped, and a voice in her head told her that her sister never cared. That all Briar cared about was power.

So when Briar left and took Lyra with her instead of Basil, she grew enraged, and tracked down her sister, who she half-blinded before being killed by Briar.

...But she's the Immortal Cursed One.
