Now for the next of the GrassStone kits.  For context, these three littermates are all named and designed after the fursonas of users on author Kate Cary's personal blog, BlogClan. Whorlpelt here is named after BlogClan user Whorlpelt.

Whorlpelt has no physical description given in the books others than his pattern. I know that the real user Whorlpelt is a big fan of Pallas Cats, so I decided to base my Whorlpelt design on the big, broad build of a Pallas Cat (even though on the BlogClan wiki page, Whorlpelt is described as lithe - oops, didn't notice that 'til now - but I got this design okayed by the real Whorlpelt so I don't feel too bad about it ). I used this image as a reference.

For his pattern, in the books, Whorlpelt is described as a gray-and-white tom. On the BlogClan allegiances, Whorlpelt is described as a gray tabby tom with blue eyes and white, whorl-like patterns on his pelt. After checking with the real Whorlpelt and getting his feedback about how he pictures the character Whorlpelt's pattern, I did my best to replicate that faithfully.

Overall, I'm really pleased with the end result.
