A Second Litter, and an Apprentice's death, Moon 233

On Moon 233, Fireflyheart II gave birth to their second litter, however, unlike with their first litter, Songblaze did not come to the nursery until several hours after the birth. This ended up being because she was visiting the grave of Sootpaw, the only girl in their first litter. Sootpaw had died three moons earlier on Moon 230 from a dog after getting distracted following the scent of an unknown cat. Sootpaw's death, being the first of Songblaze's kits to die, has a big impact on Songblaze, and it takes a while for her to recover. After which Songblaze grows more protective of her kin. She doesn't want them to die so young ever again. Nor does she want them to have such bloody deaths, so similar to that partrol where she was the only one to survive...

Fireflyheart waited to name their second litter until Songblaze was there with them. They decided on the names Shatterkit (pure white she-kit), after Songblaze's father Shattertooth, Rowankit (red she-kit with a white underbelly), Bugkit (half pinkish white, half pure white tom kit), Sandkit (off white intersex kit with dark spots along their back), and Ashenkit (blue tinted white intersex kit with a black V marking on ver forhead).

Almondpaw:

She once lived in the warrens of the Twoleg territory with Bloomlily, who offered her shelter when her old Twoleg threw her out.When the Clans fled, Almondpaw wished to repay Bloomlily's kindness by convincing her to join one. Almondpaw picked QuillClan due to being closest to the Oasis.

Ashenkit:

He was a kittypet in the densest part of the Twoleg territory. Owlfleck carried him out when the cats evacuated. When he was at the Oasis, he saw the stars for the first time. With no parents to claim him, he chose QuillClan, where he could be closest to the open skies.

Pythonkit:

She was Ashenkit's neighbor back in the Twoleg territories. Back then, she'd spin him stories about what the city was like when her Twoleg took her out with them. This gave the little kitten a superiority complex. When the Clans fled and split territories, she picked QuillClan not only for Ashenkit but for the potential to venture back out and share her knowledge.

And that's the last of the founders! I have several moons of sketches already, but I'll probably try hand lettering since CSP's text tool has been kind of annoying to work with, so that might mean reworking some frames.
