From what I've researched, the biggest reason they want to pull out of the EU is so they dont have to take in refugees/immigrants, especially from the middle east. Theresa May even wanted to make a deal to keep the benefits the EU provided England (trade, travel) without having to take in refugees, and the board told her she had to have both or neither and this started the buildup of her leaving office.
