Gonna start a proper introduction post, 'ello 'ello! I'm Harvey, preferably called hp, welcome to my odd blog!!

Harvey and Colin are my two personas but that's not too important, Harvey's always be here and Colin is a new addition.

•I don't care what pronouns you use on me but I'm she/her

•I'm also British (Specifically Scottish) and also Chinese!! World's most common combination of flags /j

•Fandoms: TTTE (Mainly), Life Series/Hermitcraft, sometimes my countryhumans stuff (This fandom's actually my main, I just choose not to post it on Tumblr and I have a different alias), Genshin Impact and a couple others

•Steamvey: I decided to create an actual TTTE AU, a lot of before was kinda just a loose headcanon. This is separate from it though it still takes a lot of my interpretations, including designs. It's just that I'm suspending my own disbelief and giving them nationalities that I don't actually think they have and giving them more human-like names! Steamvey is the same I came up with because I couldn't think of anything creative

•I don't do TTTE shipping a lot BUT I have a huuuge soft spot for Donald x Duck, been a strong supporter since 2021, (I do also quite like Edward x Boco and Sir Handel x Duncan and Mike x Rex is growing on me but 8x9 is my main)

•I preferably don't want NSFW accounts interacting with me but I honestly don't care

•Basic do not interacts: accounts that ship inc/st, adult x minor, etc. I would desire for them to get off my account

•Favourite TTTE character is actually Sir Handel! But I just draw, ramble and write about Duck and the Little Western a lot, I have a thing for characters that are green or just pure assholes xd. I love the Arlesdale gang too, Jock included!!

•It should be noted, I'm just a casual fan of TTTE, I do try and get into the lore of stuff but by no means and I as knowledgeable or even have any expertise in any of this, my interest and fascination does not lie in locomotives or the franchise. I'm a country and economics kid xd. So pleaaase don't be too harsh if I mess things up, I try and correct them when I can

Starting this off is Walter, that guy that got like, mentioned in the 2025 QNA and we know nothing about except he works on the Little Western

Headcanons below (When and if we ever get more info about Walter, he will be altered too):

•Half English, Half Maltese

•Born in Qorma, Malta but moved to Leeds, England. Eventually moved again to Sodor after he and his engine were bought for the NWR

•He's now resides near Harwick and Arlesbrugh, roomates with the Little Western

•When Walter first arrived on Sodor, because he valued first impressions so badly, his appearance and smile were so overly-perfected that it made interacting with him very unsettling, now that he's aquatinted with the island, he straight up does not care about his appearance anymore (Messier hair, wears an abundance of hair-clips, barely buttoned up shirt and blazer), much to the dismay of Duck but nobody else minds it so he doesn't say anything.

•Due to not being of Great Western origin, many of Oliver, Toad, the slip/auto coaches and especially Duck's rambles go right over his head (Donald and Douglas assure him that he'll get used to it)

•Very shy when he first came and still does get as such when meeting new faces or in new situations but immediately becomes a different character when he's encouraged enough

•Walter's actually closer to the coaches on the Little Western than the engines, he still gets a little intimidated by the four engines but the others do try and make him feel welcomed. The slip and auto coaches are his seniors that he loves to try and impress.

•Loves Dilly but Dilly still isn't used to him yet so she still quacks when he tries to get near, Donald tells him to "Give her time, yon Dilly's friendly tae any engine she sees, except Duck"

•He tends to mimic Duck's mannerisms a lot (Because he sees a vaguely leaderlike guy and goes, "They're so cool, I have to copy their traits so I can be cool") which usually ends with him being teased

•Walter is always the last person to know if Donald and Duck are in a prank war and it's always after it ends, "So I WASN'T going crazy when I heard quacking noises near the coaches shed"

•Got so scared by the Miniature Engines when he first went to Arlesdale, it took Oliver dragging Walter there himself to get him to finally properly meet them because Walter got too embarrassed by his initial reaction.

I love the idea that Emily and Duck are the only ones who can (And are willing to) keep Donald and Douglas in line and be a straight-man when the two fall out or are acting like idiots. It's beautifully ironic given the whole community debacle of "Emily replaced Duck" stuff.

I hate Emily In The Middle but Emily in the episode is similar to Duck's plight in Twin Trouble (Which, while I also am not a fan of the episode, I think Love Me Tender clears the two for a story with the twins falling out, I do like Duck's inclusion a lot) where they're both left to deal with the consequences of the twins not seeing eye to eye.

Duck's also weirdly (or not) very unassertive in Twin Trouble even though we've seen him throw hands with (especially) Gordon and the others on multiple occasions and fights back a lot when heat is thrown his way, ("Oh no, Donald's mad at me :(((" stupid loser LMAO, never seen his anger or taunts be directed towards the twins, bro has a soft spot /j /j /j, Donald doesn't even apologise for being rude to Duck at the end which is even funnier to me)

Emily being this older sister like character for the twins is something I like, mostly because I like seeing the three main Scottish tender engine characters all interacting. While Duck, because he's their first friend on Sodor, gets the special privilege of the twins coming to him when they're pissed LMAO /j

I did also design the Big Four of British railways, dunno if I'll make them canon in my ttte AU, I just did it for fun. Duck and Gordon's beef is directly influenced by GWR and LNER's beef and I think that's funny

Do also have this headcanon of Duck when he worked in Paddington, nothing special

I just like the idea that back at Paddington the big engines initially teased/made fun of Duck until he started a massive ass French-revolution styled revolt and everyone backed off from him. I don't actually think Truro made fun of him, he traversed Paddington every so often but never properly met Duck during his stays because Duck would always hide away from embarrassment because, it's City of Truro, that's Duck's national hero /j

Sometimes I love imagining TTTE Duck as DHMIS Duck, they’re both from British franchises, green, had a unique/odd voice and are fan-favourites too, I also think they’re both endearing characters in their own ways, TTTE Duck for his various dynamics, stories and unique character and DHMIS Duck for being a potential war criminal who killed a child in front of their mother
