Do you remember when you first started believing in Larry or ziam?

I can pinpoint Larry to the day - it was Sept 15, 2012.  Prior to that, I knew of them, but knew little about them. They were just the cute boy band all my friends began going nuts over starting in like February/March of 2012. I ignored most of the stuff they talked about, because HELLLOOOO my kids like boy bands.

Through the entire summer, my 13 y/o talked about them more and more, and I heard more frequent references to "Larry Stylinson". Come to find out, my 13y/o had been following everything about them on youtube since late in 2011 after she stumbled across their X-factor performances.

On Sept 15th, we went out to dinner for her and the oldest's birthday - they are 8 years apart in age, but their birthdays are a day apart. Her sister had given her a Harry doll and the 13y/o made the comment that they shouldn't be sold separately, as they might miss each other. I asked questions all the way home, logged into my computer told my one friend who had been the most adamant about the boys on facebook that I was looking into it, and googled Larry Stylinson. From that moment on my life has descended into boyband hell.

She sent me this picture when I told her what I was doing -

I honestly am not sure how I had not been more involved sooner. If I had been paying attention, I would have been, because the picture was pretty fucking telling.

The first thing I looked at was the Larry bible video. After that 14 minutes, I was hooked and convinced that Lous and Harry were in a relationship.

Then I went to reasonswhylarrystylinsonisreal and started reading the big masterpost.  And while the fandom went into meltdown over the bullshit tweet, I kept reading. What I was seeing wasn't matching up to what was playing out on Twitter, and I was going to damn well figure out why that was.

I started following blogs (what-love-means, bromanceshmomance, boyfriendsandbandshirts, and volouminous (who had a different url then) were the first ones I followed. I read everyone's masterposts, and I watched, observed, and kept digging further, finding other blogs, too -lapelosa and respirodivita (still froso at that point) entered my follow list around that time. Sometime in November, I finally started talking, on anon, to a few bloggers. For the longest time I was known as MOM anon on a couple blogs. I made my first One Direction reblog on December 4th, a picture of Louis and Eleanor from NY, that I added the comment "If this is happy, I'll stay miserable."

In the meantime, while I was immersing myself in Larry and putting the pieces together, Ziam was distracting the fuck out of me, especially the interviews from the end of September.

Suddenly, they looked an awful lot like two other boys had looked about 2 years earlier. So I went back to the beginning, and watched everything all over again, and started focusing on Liam&Zayn, instead of Louis&Harry. By Thanksgiving weekend, I was convinced that there was also something going on between them.

I freely admit, I could be completely wrong about it all - but if I am, Louis, Harry, Liam, and Zayn definitely need to do some introspection about themselves and who they are.

I'm about 99.95% positive I'm not wrong.
