The OC “Pilot” 1x01 - why you should watch if you haven’t already: explained in these five photos
just wanted to remind everyone of why I (& a lot of other fans) watch The Rookie: it starts and ends with Chenford. Specifically moments like these that show off Eric & Melissa’s immense talent, emotional finesse, and genuine ability to communicate the littlest developments within their characters through the small moments.
Chenford’s progress has been a slow burn, and each has subtly grown into their own person who’s subsequently perfect for the other. Also need I remind any haters out there of the fact that THAT 2x11 scene has over 6 million views despite not even being 2 years old.
It’s the second most popular viewed video when you search The Rookie too, (only beaten out by technically another Chenford compilation of Lucy in 1x11 w/the needle & Tim helping her through it). Okay, that’s all. Carry on.
had to. you’re welcome. 😂
Why you definitely should watch The Rookie (if you’re not already, that is):
WHY DOES THE CW KEEP KILLING PEOPLE I LOVE. Is that what being a progressive and young network looks like? Killing every other character? If you keep killing people it’s not shocking anymore. It’s lazy. Can you not think of a story where these otherwise well developed characters get to keep on living? Can you not find another way to motivate the other characters than grief and loss? Is death the new character development? This generation sees enough violence and hate and discrimination in everyday life-we don’t need to see it “represented” on tv every week to know it’s real. Tv is an escape. But when I see a character killed off every other show and every other episode what is there even to get attached to? I’m tired of this. It’s not new and creative at this point. It’s not groundbreaking. It’s borderline abusive to the people invested in your shows. It’s disrespectful. The “anyone can die” excuse is not a reason to kill. I can’t wait for the generation growing up watching this storytelling bullshit to take over your jobs and write actual good, compelling television. Until then, have fun murdering all of your characters. I won’t be investing.
My response to a tweep who I was attempting to convince to watch Outlander. Really, no other reasons necessary. I would nibble on that arm like a turkey leg.
dude why all the random ray hate on my dash like since when has he acted like a big shot or anything he's the same as he's always been? idk i didn't notice a difference except now you guys seem to hate on him enough to the point where he gets angry about it and actually tweets something about it now so like A+ good job
Considering not watching the NBA Finals because no one I care for is in them.
