probably been done in some capacity but basically what if the reader was a new sergeant added to the 141 and had been perfectly pleasant, but then yells at Price in a fit of exhaustion during a meeting
"Oh my fucking god, are you taking the bloody piss over there? Why won't you just fucking shut the hell up already? God damn."
Everyone in the briefing room froze. You could hear a pin drop.
The comment had come from you, a sergeant and the newest member of their team, and was directed towards Price, who had been debriefing the whole team for the last 20 minutes and yet was still only on the first slide. Out of 45.
As the newbie, you had only come on board a few months ago, so they were all still getting to know you, but from what they had seen had made the outburst a bit surprising to say the least.
So far, you had been relatively more on the quiet side, both in demeanor and words. Sure, a soldier cursing was nothing none of them hadn't heard before. It was just...None of them had ever heard you curse that much in a single breath. Small, short, curses here and there under your breath, sure, but never a full on out loud rant.
Soap was the first to break, laughing in delight, "Och, Ah ken ye had some fire in ye! Pay up, Gaz!"
"You fucker." Gaz huffed but paid the man.
All you could do was blink. Then you scowled and turned on them, "You two can fuck right off as well!"
"Oi! What'd we do?!" Soap gaped at Kyle, who was smacking him in a desperate effort to get him to shut his mouth.
"What haven't you done?!" You shouted, "It's you two that keep me up all night because you refuse to quiet the fuck down!" You were half crawling out of your seat already to get at the two of them, even as they very quickly backed away.
"Sergeant!" Price barked.
You froze in your spot, then immediately scrambled back to sit down again.
Price sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, shaking his head. He knew very well what Gaz and Soap got up to at night when they should've been sleeping. It's not like he wanted to know, but it was his job. Just as it was his job to discipline you for yelling at him. He just had to figure out how he wanted to go about doing it.
He wondered if he could maybe pass that responsibility along to Ghost. He'd probably enjoy figuring out ways to make you regret it, at least enough so that you'd never even think to yell at him again.
Yeah, he'd give it to Ghost.
It'd been too long since he'd been able to give his lieutenant something durable to chew on.
