Culture,

I absolutely love the Irish culture, the music, dances being in Athlone, not as much Dublin but it still felt like I was at home. It had a very homie feel to it that I couldn’t pin point where it came from but it was very much there. Feeling that way made me even more excited to learn about the masters program option there for us and I have actually already made plans with my mother that if it is something I am set on my mother will watch my dog while I am over there (unfortunately he is illegal there). Being from the east coast and that a lot of the east has Irish routes and many things are branches off from Irish culutre it wasn’t too surprising for it to feel homie but how homie it felt shocked me. I was ready to stay and not return to school.  It is just one of those cultures that captures you and doesn’t let go.

I would go back to Ireland in a heartbeat. This experience has opened my eyes and my heart to many things, but also to the many things this world has to offer.
