@whythursdaynext I wouldn't recommend being a robot, honestly. It makes interacting with most humans very, very confusing. You're probably a lot better at reading people and understanding them. :)

Since I'm pretty sure you're a native speaker of German, question: does the Deutsch voice actor for Krieg have a regional accent? I thought I caught something but my Deutsch ist ein bisschen kaputt.

okay so it's not what I'd call an accent or a dialect per se? but there's definitely a hint of dialect with Krieg. maybe

It's just very rare for a non-german piece of media to get dubbed in anything but "Hochdeutsch"/standard german - even when the text explicitly comments on someone's accent lol

I am a native speaker but I'm also.... real bad with dialects 😅 to the point where I just looked up a video of german dialects to double check my gut instinct because I was gonna say the way he rolled his r's sounded... vaguely Bavarian to me? but it's definitely not an actual bavarian dialect.

I'm happy to take any and all constructive criticism from my fellow native speakers! please help!

Maybe it's because you haven't seen a wlw relationship with something you desperately want out of your relationships like I'm very hetero but I don't ship a ton of things bc they don't seem relatable emotionally?
