Just watched Secret Garden for the zillionth time (no regrets) and my heart is breaking all over again over Wish Hook urging Zelena to go back to her daughter straight away. It’s the one thing he regrets not doing more than anything and he doesn’t want another parent and child separated at Gothel’s hands. I love how much he cares for others :’).

He totally grows on Zelena by the time they’re in-laws but she’ll probs never admit it. And they definitely danced together drunkenly over the Holidays, much to their daughters’ embarrassment ;P.

Zapped by Madame Leota in episode 7x11 “Secret Garden”

Madame Leota removes the doorway out of Memento Mori, trapping Hook and Zelena inside. When Hook starts hitting the wall where the door once was, Leota retaliates by zapping him with electricity and knocking him out.

Supporting Regina in episode 7x10 “The Eighth Witch”

Mother Gothel and her coven has put Regina in a tight spot: Either watch her beloved son die or cast their dark curse and condemn everyone to the Land Without Magic. Zelena grabs Regina’s arm, telling her she can’t do this, but Hook grabs Zelena himself and confesses that he would, lending his support to Regina doing the same in order to save her son.

Actually the whole, Zelena backing down to Robin saying she’s not a child at 18 vs. Killian being like “Tf, no, she’s a kid. Just tell her no.”, reminds me a lot of my childhood.

Turning 18 did not equal being an adult. Legally, yes. In my household, however, my mom could still tell me to stop doing stupid shit. I’m pretty sure there’s no way she would’ve let me stay with some witch trying to corrupt me.

Yet, I know other people who’s parents at 18 were like “Eh. You’re 18. I don’t have any say in your life anymore.” and just left it at that.

Again...very different parenting styles. Because I actually seeing Regina parenting more like Killian in that regard.

KW’s Microwhump: Zelena + A Knife in 5x01 “The Dark Swan”

This is why you don’t bring a knife to a witch fight mental asylum anywhere if you’re Killian Jones. After throwing him across the cell, Zelena easily snatches Killian’s knife and threatens him with it. Or so he thinks. He takes cover when she wildly swings it, but he’s not actually her target...

KW’s Microwhump: WTFing in 5x01 “The Dark Swan”

Well, this isn’t traumatic at all. Instead of attacking him with the knife she just stole, Zelena zestfully chops her own hand off, then picks it up off the floor and reattaches it like it’s nothing. His faces here are priceless. The last time a hand went flying through the air and hit the ground, it was his... and I don’t think the parallel here is lost on him.

Top row is angst in the Enchanted Forest. Big pic in second row is a pseudo stabbing added here for the amusement of all ;) Third row is more angst over Gideon’s renewed efforts to kill her and the catch-22 Emma’s now in... and the last two rows are a little bit of his Happy Ending Beginning, because we can’t angst all the time, you know?
