Attacked by Enemy Ships in episode 3x05 “Good Form”
A shout goes out from the crew that enemy ships have been sighted approaching. They fire at the Jewel of the Realm, but only score a near miss. Liam, the Jewel’s Captain, seems utterly unworried about the attack...
Taking Cover
starter for @mizunokami
Madara woke up first, jolting out of sleep in one sudden rush as he’d been trained to do. He registered the arms wrapped around him first, then the warm body behind his. For a moment, he wondered when Hashirama had come back in time to sleep with him.
Then Tobirama’s chakra filtered through his senses, and Madara sprung out of the futon like he’d been scalded. Memories came rushing back to him in one dizzying rush of heat-induced irrationality, and Madara would have vomited if he had anything to throw up.
“Tobirama,” he hissed, grabbing the nearest object. It was a ceramic incense stand. He threw it at his head. “You -- wake up!”
A Flashbang in episode 2x22 “And Straight On ‘Til Morning”
When Greg Mendel sets off the self-destruct trigger for Storybrooke, it floats upwards into the air and then goes off with a blinding flash of light.
KW’s Microwhump: Zelena + A Knife in 5x01 “The Dark Swan”
This is why you don’t bring a knife to a witch fight mental asylum anywhere if you’re Killian Jones. After throwing him across the cell, Zelena easily snatches Killian’s knife and threatens him with it. Or so he thinks. He takes cover when she wildly swings it, but he’s not actually her target...
KW’s Microwhump: Cyclone Traveling in 5x01 “The Dark Swan”
Cyclones aren’t really a smooth method of travel. In fact, they’re rather violent and turbulent and a bit messy. Fortunately, Colin O’Donoghue is amazingly adept at stumbling everywhere he goes across rooms in a manner that looks believably like he’s being thrown about by a cyclone. Acting! I also love his neat and orderly laying of his head on the counter there. It’s like he took a course on Proper Cyclone Safety Procedures in the Royal Navy.
Hangman’s Island in episode 6x15 “A Wondrous Place”
Looking for Jafar lands Hook, Aladdin and Jasmine on Hangman’s Island, and the hut of an ardent kleptomaniac collector of corkscrews and other utensils. Hook waxes poetic about the tragedy of stuck corks, while Jasmine finds something that used to belong to Jafar. Abruptly, a booby trap is sprung and Hook nearly gets his head taken off by a giant yellow fork ball, which can really only be the work of one person - Ariel.
