Well, this isn’t traumatic at all. Instead of attacking him with the knife she just stole, Zelena zestfully chops her own hand off, then picks it up off the floor and reattaches it like it’s nothing. His faces here are priceless. The last time a hand went flying through the air and hit the ground, it was his... and I don’t think the parallel here is lost on him.

Author’s Summary: What was going through Killian's mind before being sent into the pool? What happens during the times in between scenes during the final few episodes of Season 3 and after? Is Killian really okay? And who is this new visitor? Note: This is now A/U past Season 3.
My Comments: The Author’s Summary really doesn’t do the story justice. It’s a medical/illness whump-de-force, where Killian suffers through several major medical calamities and has a long and angsty convalescence in the hospital, complete with complications, while Emma, David and Snow all try to help him through it physically and emotionally. If you like medical/illness whump, aftercare and long recoveries, this story has you ALL over it.
Additional Note: OMG. THANK YOU @justsomewhump for linking me to this story, which (unbeknownst to her) has been the bane of my existence for months now. I read it before I started this blog, and after starting the blog, wanted to ficrec it here, but couldn’t manage to find the damn thing. To make matters worse, someone even sent me an ask about it, but they ALSO couldn’t remember the name or author. Talk about frustrating! But finally, at long last, this epic of medical illness whump and after care has arrived here!!!
