Aavya base revamp!!
oooohh gimme that sweet sweet Elfroot (for the wip ask game, lest this ask be confused for something else LOL)
Ahahahah alas my stack of fantasy happy plants is all gone. :"(
For the wip, tho, we have something! Thankks for asking!
(it's an old one, but alas the sketch arrived the moment I was trying a new inking brush and hated the hell out of it. I discarded the brush and discarded the sketch. I'm getting back on it tho! With a better brush.)
just three dragon age pcs hanging out in skyhold post-dav. left to right, dhavi lavellan (she/her) belongs to @wickedsnack & nanna amell (she/her) belongs to @mirenan & casadh thorne (they/them) belongs to me !!
12. Do you ship any of your ocs together? If so, introduce one of the pairings! 14. Have any of your ocs been re-written? If so, what did their old version look like vs their new one?
12. Do you ship any of your ocs together? If so, introduce one of the pairings!
So I didn't end up going through with it as of currently, but because I'm honestly not super interested in the primary romance lineup and there was that lingering thread of going to rescue one of your allies from the Fade a la Adamant in vg, I actually did entertain the possibility of shipping Azad Hawke(who was the one left behind in the Nannaverse) and my elf rook Acheron Laidir, which is incredibly fun to me as a possibility because Acheron is firmly a I only give a shit about my side of the Veil truther and Azad is an Entity(tm) at this point, and it would push both of them on their complex relationship with the Fade. also TF4TM old person romance amid the weirdest Fade shit possible.

So I'm pretty sure 90% of people currently here were present for the Great Elfening of Nanna's lore, something of which is still one of my favorite decisions for her because it fully elevated what was a lot of vaguely connected plot threads into a much more cohesive and emotionally driven narrative.
So I'm actually gonna hard reverse and talk about my khux oc, Phos!
So Phos started off...kind of another Nanna, if I'm being honest. And a lot of that stems from the fact that I am just drawn inherently to all-loving heroines, so while Phos was more openly playful than Nanna's iteration at the time, there was a lot that wasn't fundamentally different between them when I first started writing her. And it didn't help that there's also the old school folklore element to the setting, and as I am want to do, added a lot more direct fairytale elements(she's my widdle Red Riding Hood) to the Age of Fairytales.
But we already have our magical fairytale princess. That's Nanna. So I turned Phos into a cryptid.
Phos is actively more messy as a character, and that makes her a lot of fun. The premise for khux being a city of unsupervised kids being turned loose into a world built intentionally on competitive combat made for an interesting pathway into what that sort of evolved her into someone who is caring and means well, but considering she's not the best a lot of her decisions end up getting herself and the people around her in more direct trouble. Some of that involves her more in the game's primary plot more effectively than khux's admittedly lackluster you are here because you're the protagonist so you gotta be here to play, but that also means the consequences are wider spread and that's extremely fun for me.
8. Which one of your ocs would you consider the weirdest, and why? 9. Which of your ocs do you think you would get along with best in real life?
Ask game
8. Which one of your ocs would you consider the weirdest, and why?
Probably Alva Darrow. He introduces himself as "hi my name is Alva. You can call me Darrow" unironically. He's a druid who is afraid of animals. And while he can wildshape, he doesn't consider it to be an animal, because it's just him. He keeps goodberries on his person and gives them out as snacks.
Very normal things, honestly. But weird for what I've made.
9. Which of your ocs do you think you would get along with best in real life?
Nix. They've got a very similar energy level to what I have/can deal with during hangouts. I think he'd love some farm/life sim video games if given the chance.

was this quest fucked up or what
He arranges a proper burial for the body, after all is said and done. It’s the least he can do. Because it bothers him, almost more than anything else about the situation, this unnamed and unmourned soldier. Who was he? Ascians receive memories from their stolen bodies, or so he understands it, but that privilege – curse? – is not one that he shares. So he is left with naught more than questions and guesses. He is young, the boy they stuffed his soul into, with dark hair and the light eyes that are so prevalent in Garlemald, glassy though they are in death. He is preserved, somehow, as though the meddling that had been done to him served to stave off decay. Cas commits the face to memory, until he can recall its lines and contours just as well as he can recall the feeling of occupying them. It would be nice to find his family. He hopes they are among the refugees rather than the dead. Was he alive when Fandaniel got his hands on him? Was he tempered? Afraid? One of the poor souls huddled around a radio, collectively learning how to pray? And why this one? There is no reasoning behind it, like as not, but he has his doubts. For all of his seeming impulsivity and mania, there is something lurking behind Fandaniel’s eyes that suggests cool and collected malice aforethought. Had it been even a week earlier, Cas might have held some small pity for Zenos – the prince is far too arrogant to know that he’s being outplayed.
and also uh venom snake for the blorbo bingo (that's your guy, right? one of your guys?)
