Tiger Lily helped Lampwick reduce his drinking habits back in school when they became friends.
She also helped reduce his smoking habits.
He'll have a drink or a cigar still every now and then but he usually keeps it to special occasions to avoid health issues and bad habits.
Lampwick can be pretty forgetful when it comes to things that he doesn't really care for, like school work: Tiger Lily, back when they were still in school, would remind him every now and then about important assignments.
She didn't have to hound him about, mind you, just reminded him so he wouldn't have to quit cheer-leading and (later on) modeling.
The two of them used to study together all the time. Mostly so they would get it done (what? It's boring!).
