In March 1982, Bob Jones University was wringing its hands over an influenza epidemic, but this time it was only used metaphorically. 

They claimed in Faith for the Family that in the Arkansas Scopes II trial the ACLU called Chandra Wickramasinghe as a star witness. 

It’s known as the Hoyle–Wickramasinghe model of panspermia, if you want to look it up. And it’s weird.
