Red Hulk might be a more behaved hulk, but he was still a hulk. And hulks were like bears in that they could look cute one moment and bite your head off in the next.

The red giant was having a really bad week. He'd isolated himself, looking out into space like he was going through war flashbacks.

Inside him.....a war was going on. And his human half was losing ground.

He didn't mean to snarl at Natasha but in a second, it wasn't Thaddeus Ross in that massive body.

Red tried....but the forced secrecy over his identity made everyone trust him less. More than one teammate had made it very vocally clear how they preferred the original green and not an off-brand cheap knockoff.

He was used to this....but the constant reminder that he was just someone's charity case made it very difficult for him to be optimistic.

Red Hulk just bowed his head and did he was told.

Right now he was quiet, partly lost in his own head. Though he did glance over to Natasha.
