If i remember correctly when you got your wisdom teeth removed you said the assistant showed you why it hurt and you were terrified, but if you dont mind me asking, why??? Im kinda curious now :)

god it was horrific.

I’m guessing what happened is, sometimes your wisdom teeth grow in so far back in your  mouth your toothbrush can’t reach it. And the hole was in the very back of my tooth, they wouldn’t have seen it without the xray. So i’m guessing the tooth was so far back it managed to just start dying without my being able to do anything about it.

But yeah the dental assistant was just like “Hey! Wanna see your tooth?? :D”

And I was like “Seems like a bad idea but su–OH GOD.”

For people who had their wisdom teeth removed

Did you ever vomit large quantities of blood?

How long did it take for the swelling to go down?

When were you able to eat solids again?

When would you recommend alternating between hot and cold, the instructions say after 48 hours but I’m still on ice.

What did you eat because I’m stuck on broth and apple sauce and I want more but I can’t chew.

So i got my wisdom teeth out yesterday and my mom didn’t record a video cause I was crying. But the story is, I felt this ice wrap around my face and wanted to ask my mom if it looked like tupac. I had gauze and couldn’t talk so I held up 2 fingers and she said “yes honey you have 2 ice packs” and I said uhuh, and she grabs her phone to text someone and I snatch it and write a note which is the next photo. The walls also melted. Here’s what i look like compared to tupac btw, we share all the feathures: eyes, white head wrap thing, a nose, eyebrows above the eyes, the obvious.

The fact that I’m now 17 and my wisdom teeth still haven’t appeared just worries me. I’ve had dental X-rays before, I’ve definitely got ‘em. Maybe they’ll just never appear. Maybe my body is just keeping ‘em tucked away until a time that it knows the procedure’ll make me wacky as fuck just to get back at me for being a little bitch. Who knows.

Still kinda wished they would have done my surgery today but oh well. Just a couple more months and some pain reliever. I can do this. 🙏🌸

Update: I have four less teeth and can’t hold any food down because of my killer pain killers.  Anyone have any advice?
