early myths had BOTH werewolves and wifewolves, but the concept of werewolves prevailed, because men look more intimidating

but don't you also think that women have a greater bond to the moon then men do?

their menstrual cycles sync up with the moon cycles!!!

how cool is that?!

so, in the 21th century, i ask myself, why do we still accept the almost non-existent representation of wifewolves?!

Ive just had a realization and im baffled to have never seen anything like it in this website.

Ok so in ye olde english, the words Man and Woman didnt exist as they do today. Woman hadnt been invented yet and Man meant "human"

So what words did they use? Well, man was Wer and woman was Wif. Thats where we get words like Wife and Werewolf.

So tecnically, one could say, a female werewolf would be called

a Wifewolf

Here she comes! Theria's reference sheet was tricky as a concept - she's a werewolf (wifewolf, if You will), so she had to have her two forms shown, but also I wanted to preserve the format of the other refs. Also, her human form is clothed because she just habitually doesn't wear underwear
