Sometimes it feels like you’re never enough.
But always doing nothing will keep you stuck.
Use your voice. It sets you free.
Live your truth and be something.

The picture I drew highlights my favorite quote from Wilberto Canton’s play, “Nosotros Somos Dios.” We read and performed it in college. It’s message has been on my mind a lot lately.
The lines I wrote above are the beginning of a new song that the play is inspiring. They could also be an addition to a different song I’ve written. That’s the beauty of writing your own songs, you get to make the rules.
