Met a couple of angry friends today
Here's a wild eastern box turtle (caught/released for recording purposes) named Rambo. Rambo got stuck. --- Check out the missing marginal scute by his neck! The photos don’t really show it, but his shell has been gnawed on my something fierce. Thankfully the damage looks old and well healed. A fox or a coyote may have gotten their jaws on him. Rambo also doesn’t seem shy about meeting new friends! He was released back into the same area he was found in after he was cataloged :)
