23. Do they have a good memory? Short term or long term? Are they good with names? Or faces?
Vanora has an excellent memory, a trait she was born with and pushed to hone throughout her lifetime. She remembers both faces and names with ease, though people she has only met in passing usually lose their names in her mind as time wears on. It is most convenient for her work, as well as keeping her lies from crossing or tangling.
27. What makes them sad? Do they cry regularly? Do they cry openly or hide it? What are they like they are sad?
As with any of her emotions Vanora keeps them hidden from just about everyone. No sort of extreme emotion shows itself on her face unless she allows or, or unless something is wrong with her and she cannot focus enough to contain herself. Bouts of crying are few and far between, and despite her memory Vanora cannot quite recall the last time she cried, but she knows it was sometime during her younger years. Things that make her sad include failure, suffering, disease, loss of innocent lives, and any sort of deep hurt that people near her might suffer from.

It wasn’t so much the sight of the dead Templars that gave Lo’rian reason to pause, more so the rather cheerful looking child stood in the middle of the bloodshed.
He didn’t like children. They were loud, sticky, and tended to divert attention from himself. Though he wasn’t actively cruel to them, more tended to avoid them if at all possible, he had no desire to be near one interact with it.
Although the creature before him was not a child.
At least not completely.

He could sense something off with the kid but exactly what was unknown.
It was the bubbling underling sensation of the fade, it radiated off him like a current and made the hairs on Lo’rians arms stand on end.
Regardless, demon or no demon, any child standing in a pool of blood looking so pleased about it was cause for concern.
He’d heard enough stories from the dark woods to know how this bullshit would play out.

Sheer joy? I don’t think so. A sick sense of satisfaction? Yes, yes Ihave. I once beat my elder brother Daniel badly enough that he was inthe infirmary for a week. I probably would have done worse, had myfather not pulled me off, and I did it because I found out he’dturned one of our servants into his personal slave. He made all sortsof demands of her, and would get angry and strike her should she notmanage to complete his requests in a manner he found satisfactory.Did it scare me? No. I knew I was capable of such a thing, as I havealways been far stronger than Daniel physically. It was just a matterof whether he or anyone else would push me to the point that Ireacted in such a manner. Unfortunately for Daniel, he managed to dojust that.
Ifyou could choose to remove certain feelings such as anger, confusion,sadness, would you remove them?
I don’t think I would. Some feelings may not be pleasant, but lifewouldn’t be the same without them. To only experience feelings that Iwanted to experience would be quite dull, and I would never grow as aperson if I didn’t experience those negative feelings.

Both sides of Ayane’s family have had mages, and her parents are mages themselves who met while escaping Templar custody. So she is not afraid of magic but actually very curious and in awe of it. She believes it is a gift from the Creators and secretly wishes she could do magic herself.
