 A day beginning with The Lovers and some rooftop yoga. Vegan desserts on the UWS at Blossom on Columbus. And some pictures of The Wild Bird Fund whose mission is, ‘to provide medical care and rehabilitation to native and passing migrant wildlife so that they can be released back into the wild. And to educate New Yorkers about the rich diversity of the city’s wildlife and how to help it thrive.’

Currently thinking about how many birds live in the trees above me 🤔🕊🌳 and how grateful I am to @nycparks for maintaining these natural oases in our city. 🙏🏼🌿 According to the @wildbirdfund, NYC is smack-dab in the middle of one of the largest, ancient migratory pathways for traveling birds. If these parks and protected wild areas weren’t around, 350+ bird species wouldn’t make it to their over-winter habitats due to exhaustion, dehydration, and hunger.
